Front hinge is cracked and the paper over back hinge shows some wear.
Light wear to cloth and gilt edges of pages. All pieces of the "mosaic" are still intact. This cloth can still be seen on spine and edges of covers. In this case, the volume was originally bound in black cloth. Tiny wear spot and a tiny stain to first page of Old Testament, with only one letter of text partially effected. With a preface by the Cardinal Archbishop of Westminster. Just minor wear to edges of pages and mild wear and a touch of soiling to intact marker-ribbons. Several tiny chips and tiny worn areas to original black leather, which can only be seen on spine and edges of covers. Approximately seven pieces of the "mosaic" are missing at extremities of covers on this volume. SAINT ANDREW DAILY MISSAL: xxxviii, 1161pp., 105pp., 36pp., (i). 2 separate books, each bound in black with matching custom covers that are more or less a kind of "mosaic," with the word "Jerusalem" on each front cover.

My St Andrew's Missal has an imprimatur of Bruges 11th September 1945 on nearly the last page. St Joseph in the Communicantes portion of the Canon (which is more important than it seems as the Conciliarists say they could touch something sacrosanct), the server says a Confiteor before the people's Communion, and a few more Feast days, most Vigils and Octaves abolished. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two and if the 1945 missal would be just as good? Andrew’s missal that I’d love to use because it’s in nearly-new shape.
